Historical Perspective-Modern Vision

Fauver Co., LPA is proud of its rich history of providing counsel to clients and community service throughout Lorain County and the State of Ohio for over a century.

Fauver & Fauver was founded by L.B. Fauver in 1900.  He was joined by his sons King and Worth in the 1920s.  Other Fauver family members, including Scribner Fauver and Worth Fauver Jr. led the firm into a 1984 merger with another Lorain County firm founded in 1915 by Guy B. Findley, who later became a Lorain County Common Pleas judge and donated the land for Findley State Park, and Don W. Myers, who later became Lorain County Prosecutor.  The Fauver legacy continues today with Howard T. Lane, who is the son-in-law of Worth Fauver Jr.

Our attorneys have served as judges, county prosecutors, state legislators, law directors, city prosecutors, city council members, village solicitors and township officials, as well as leaders on a multitude of legal, civic, public and non-profit boards.  We have been instrumental in the establishment of entities that have become civic institutions, such as Lake Ridge Academy, Lorain County Community College, and the Community Foundation of Greater Lorain County.  Fauver lawyers continue to serve in leadership positions on both the local and state levels, and many of our business clients have evolved into major regional employers with the assistance of the firm.

Fauver was founded in an age before the widespread use of electricity and automobiles. Today we are on the forefront of advances in the practice of law and technology, serving clients in areas like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, privacy, big data, and complex corporate transactions.
